Something For Nothing

I'm sitting here at the moment, wondering. Not about anything in particular, but I'm starting to feel a bit lonely. Maybe I'll go home at the weekend or something - see some people and cheer myself up a bit. I've not really had any proper human contact for five days, due to this lecturers' strike and the fact that nobody except me turned up to the lecture on Monday. I guess we'll see how I feel tomorrow with all the guys around me. Pool shall be played, I've no doubt.

So yesterday I went and gave blood again. The nurse who stabbed me was actually very nice, and since it was my second time they had all my stuff on file and there was practically zero waiting time, which I suppose is why it's the NBS and not the NHS.

But yeah. This nurse worked in Macclesfield at one point, and we had a lengthy conversation about when I used to live with a house that was rather near the Cat and Fiddle road, and how he was probably one of the idiots who kept me awake at night with his racing.

So, I hear you cry, why is the title of this post relevant? Well, I'll tell you.

Microsoft are giving away pen drives loaded with information on how their licensing works - but you can just order one, and wipe the memory, of course. I've no idea how big they are, but, well - free stuff.

Click the icon on the right with the USB drive icon on it, fill in your details, and answer 2, true, true, true. 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Apparently it's for US residents only. However, the form that you fill in gives an option for Britain, and it works jsut like you'd expect, so I don't know what to think. Just to be on the safe side, I've ordered two.

I'll see you all around about.
