A Retrospective Post: Contrary To Popular Belief... (May 18th, 2005)

You'd think that seeing your ex with her new boyfriend would get you down tremendously. Bizarrely enough, not for me. It's something that I only just realised today, as well. I mean, you look at any other couple-that-was and they hate each other's guts. I'm particularly looking at Amy and Viggars as reference points, but it happens all over the place.

Well, Siân and Joe came into work today and instead of putting me into a slump it perked me up until late evening. They just seem so happy with each other, all the time, and it rubs off. When I said I would be okay with it before they even STARTED going out, I wasn't actually completely sure if I would be, but seeing them together, it's great. They make more sense than any other couple I've ever seen.

Even writing this post has elated me. You've got some kind of happiness generator of a relationship, guys.
