pope idol.

Take a look at these. I think it's only fitting.

The first one appeared in the recent edition of the New Statesman. The other two are from Battle Pope, a most excellent comic.

Note the cigar, and Jesus (the spunky sidekick) picking his nose.

I have a black and white scan of one of the pages for Battle Pope somewhere. I'll post it at some point. It's awesome.
